These additives are made to work with Speedball Water-Soluble Block Printing Inks.

Retarder slows drying on the inking slab and block, giving you more time to roll up, register and print, which is especially useful in warm rooms or for larger blocks. Extender and Transparent Extender Base reduce the strength of a colour so you can make tints, transparent overlays and subtle multi-layer reduction prints. Pearlescent Base adds a soft, shimmering sheen to any colour.

Mix additives into ink on a glass or acrylic slab with a palette knife before rolling out.
