r-f-pigment-stick-100ml-provence-blue
R&F Pigment Stick 100ml – Provence Blue

R&F Pigment Sticks are artist-quality oil paint in solid stick form, handmade in Kingston, New York, from concentrated pigment, linseed oil and a small amount of wax. They let you draw directly with oil colour, with no brushes, palette or solvents needed, and the rich, creamy colour can be blended with the fingers, a brush, a palette knife or a rag.

The chunky 100ml stick gives you a broad, generous mark and plenty of paint for larger canvases and expressive, gestural work. The full colour range is available in this size, together with colourless Blending Sticks for softening edges and extending colour.

When left to rest, each stick forms a thin protective skin that keeps the colour inside fresh; simply peel or rub it away with a paper towel before you work again. Pigment Sticks are compatible with conventional oil paints and mediums, and can be used on primed canvas, panel or suitably sized paper. As with any oil paint, work fat over lean and allow ample drying time between layers.

Key features

Handmade in the USA by R&F Handmade Paints

Oil paint in solid stick form

Large 100ml stick for broad, gestural marks

Self-sealing skin keeps the colour fresh

Compatible with conventional oil paints and mediums

Blending Sticks available, with or without drier

Specifications

Brand

R&F Handmade Paints

Range

R&F Pigment Sticks 100ml

Colour

Provence Blue

Size

100ml

Series / weight

4

Packed dimensions

127 x 31.75 x 8.509 mm

Packed weight

129 g

Country of origin

USA

Product code

RF-264H
