Prolene Plus is one of Pro Arte's softest synthetic ranges, developed to feel remarkably close to a natural sable. The vegan fibres carry a generous load of colour and spring back to a fine, crisp point, so a single brush can lay in larger washes and still pick out the smaller details that need plenty of water. It is a superb choice for watercolour, gouache and well-diluted acrylics.

The one-stroke (flat) head lays a broad, even band of colour in a single pass, ideal for colour blocking, washes and crisp edges – and turned on its side it gives fine lines.
