The Series 6 Pure Squirrel brush is made from exceptionally soft natural squirrel hair, celebrated for its absorbency and gentle spring. Squirrel hair holds a generous volume of water and colour and releases it smoothly, making these brushes lovely for flowing washes, glazes and soft wet-in-wet passages in watercolour and gouache.
The round shape is wonderfully versatile: use the point for thin, precise lines and fine details, or apply more pressure for broader strokes. Larger sizes hold enough colour for background washes and wet-in-wet techniques.
