The Series A Hog range uses high-quality hog bristle, blended to give a snap and spring that let you paint with real control and precision. Stiff enough to move thick oil paint around the canvas, natural bristle also creates unique textures, and it is famously hard-wearing – keeping its shape over long periods of use. A long handle encourages expressive, gestural strokes.

The round shape is wonderfully versatile: use the point for thin, precise lines and fine details, or apply more pressure for broader strokes. Larger sizes hold enough colour for background washes and wet-in-wet techniques.
