The Series A Hog range uses high-quality hog bristle, blended to give a snap and spring that let you paint with real control and precision. Stiff enough to move thick oil paint around the canvas, natural bristle also creates unique textures, and it is famously hard-wearing – keeping its shape over long periods of use. A long handle encourages expressive, gestural strokes.

The long flat carries more paint than a short flat and gives longer, more fluid strokes – excellent for colour blocks, edges and expressive mark-making.
