Bob Ross Liquid Opal 237ml

The wet-on-wet technique depends on painting into a thin, wet coat of colour, and these are the liquids that make it work. Liquid White is the classic starting point: a thin film is rolled over the canvas so that every following colour blends softly into it. Liquid Black and Liquid Clear do the same job for dark, dramatic scenes or where you do not want to lighten your colours.

The range also includes Liquid Opal, an oil painting medium for adjusting the consistency of your colours, and a four-pack of 100ml base coats.

Apply sparingly with a large flat brush and work while the coat is still wet. Only a thin layer is needed – too much makes it hard for the firm paint to stay where you put it.
