Speedball C-2 Lettering Pen Nib
A flat, chisel-edged C-style lettering nib; the number indicates the width of the stroke, with 0 the broadest.
Speedball has been part of lettering history since 1915, when Ross F. George designed the original Speedball lettering nibs; today the company makes nibs, holders, inks and markers used by calligraphers, illustrators and students around the world.
The classic Speedball lettering nibs come in distinct styles. A-style nibs have a square tip for bold, even, block-like strokes; B-style nibs have a round tip for uniform lines and rounded letters; C-style nibs are flat, chisel-edged nibs that create the thick and thin strokes of traditional calligraphy, and LC nibs are C-style nibs cut for left-handed writers. Within each style, the number shows the stroke width, with 0 the broadest.
Buy single nibs, twin packs, cards of two or style sets. All fit standard Speedball pen holders, and their built-in reservoirs hold enough ink for steady lettering.
