Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Etching Ink 150ml Tube – Yellow Ochre

Caligo Safe Wash inks are made by Cranfield Colours in South Wales. They are true oil-based printing inks, with the rich colour, open working time and print quality of traditional inks, but they are formulated to clean up with soap and water instead of solvents. That makes them a favourite in schools, shared studios and home workspaces where solvent use is impractical.

Caligo Safe Wash Etching Ink is formulated for intaglio printmaking: etching, engraving, drypoint, collagraph and monoprint. It fills lines well, wipes cleanly from the plate and prints with good depth through an etching press. Carbon, Brown and Blue Black are joined by process colours, earths, Opaque White and Extender.

The 75ml and 150ml tubes keep ink fresh and are ideal for colour work and smaller editions. Caligo Safe Wash inks are suitable for vegans.
