Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Etching Ink 300g Cartridge – Naphthol Red

Caligo Safe Wash inks are made by Cranfield Colours in South Wales. They are true oil-based printing inks, with the rich colour, open working time and print quality of traditional inks, but they are formulated to clean up with soap and water instead of solvents. That makes them a favourite in schools, shared studios and home workspaces where solvent use is impractical.

This 300g cartridge format suits busy etching studios. The ink is dispensed from the cartridge, so the remainder stays sealed from the air and free of skin, and only fresh, clean ink reaches the plate.

Caligo Safe Wash Etching Ink is formulated for etching, engraving, drypoint, collagraph and monoprint, and is suitable for vegans. Clean plates, slabs and tools with soap and water, with no need for white spirit or other solvents.
