Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Etching Ink 500ml Tin – Carbazole Violet

Caligo Safe Wash inks are made by Cranfield Colours in South Wales. They are true oil-based printing inks, with the rich colour, open working time and print quality of traditional inks, but they are formulated to clean up with soap and water instead of solvents. That makes them a favourite in schools, shared studios and home workspaces where solvent use is impractical.

Caligo Safe Wash Etching Ink is formulated for etching, engraving, drypoint, collagraph and monoprint. It fills lines well, wipes cleanly and prints with depth through an etching press. These 250ml, 500ml and 1kg tins are the economical choice for print studios and colleges.

To limit skinning, smooth the surface and cover with greaseproof paper before closing the lid. Caligo Safe Wash inks are suitable for vegans.
