Caligo Safe Wash inks are made by Cranfield Colours in South Wales. They are true oil-based printing inks, with the rich colour, open working time and print quality of traditional inks, but they are formulated to clean up with soap and water instead of solvents. Caligo Safe Wash Relief Ink is made for lino, woodcut, collagraph and other relief blocks, rolling out to a smooth film that prints dense, even solids by hand or press. These 250ml, 500ml and 1kg tins are the economical choice for schools, colleges and studios printing in volume.

Smooth the ink surface and cover it with greaseproof paper before closing the lid to limit skinning. Caligo Safe Wash inks are suitable for vegans.
