Speedball Calligraphy Fountain Pen – 1.5mm Nib

Speedball has been part of lettering history since 1915, when Ross F. George designed the original Speedball lettering nibs; today the company makes nibs, holders, inks and markers used by calligraphers, illustrators and students around the world.

Speedball Calligraphy Fountain Pens combine the crisp thick-and-thin strokes of a broad-edged nib with the convenience of cartridge ink, so you can practise and write without dipping. Choose a single pen with a 1.1mm, 1.5mm or 1.9mm nib, or a set that gives you several widths for headings, body text and decorative work.

Replacement ink cartridges are available in black and in assorted colours, and the gift set makes a lovely present for anyone keen to learn calligraphy. Hold the pen at a consistent angle to the line and let the nib do the work.
