Cranfield Traditional Litho Ink 150ml Tube – Pyrazolone Orange

Cranfield Traditional Litho Ink is an oil-based lithographic printing ink from Cranfield Colours, the South Wales ink maker. It is made for stone and plate lithography, with the stiffness and tack needed to roll up an image cleanly on a dampened printing surface and transfer strong, even colour to the paper.

The palette includes Carbon Black, earths, phthalo blues and green, quinacridone red and violet, arylide and diarylide yellows, Opaque White and a Transparent base for tints and overprinting. The 150ml tube is a clean, convenient way to keep a range of colours ready for proofing and smaller editions.

Clean rollers and slabs with a suitable press wash or vegetable oil and cleaner. Inks can be intermixed to extend the palette, and the Transparent base lets you lighten colours or build translucent overlays without losing tack. Made in the UK.
