Cranfield White Acrylic Gesso Primer 2.5 Litre

Cranfield Colours of Cwmbran, South Wales, makes a compact range of oils, mediums, varnishes, primers and thinners to support its oil colours. Together they cover the whole painting process, from preparing a surface to adjusting how your paint handles and protecting the finished work.

For grounds there is White Acrylic Gesso Primer and a White Thixotropic Alkyd Primer, with Co-Polymer Emulsion also available in a 1 litre size. To modify paint you can choose refined, cold pressed and stand linseed oils, an accelerated drying oil, gel and flow mediums such as Spectragel, Spectraflow and Alkaflow, and Linseed Oil Paste. Damar Varnish, pure gum turpentine and low aromatic thinner complete the range.

Sizes run from 250ml bottles for the easel to 1, 2.5 and 5 litre containers of gesso primer for schools and studios preparing canvases in quantity. Always follow the safety advice on the label and work in a well-ventilated space when using solvents.
