Fluid 100 Watercolour Block 300lb, Cold Pressed 8 x 8in (20.3 x 20.3cm)

A heavyweight 300lb (640gsm) version of Fluid 100, ideal for very wet washes.

Fluid watercolour papers are made by Global Art Materials, whose Easy-Block format glues the sheets on all four edges, so the paper stays flat as you paint and you can remove each finished sheet with a palette knife; no stretching is required.

Fluid 100 is the 100% cotton paper in the family, prized by watercolourists for the way it absorbs and releases colour, handles repeated washes and lifting, and keeps colours luminous. The 140lb (300gsm) blocks come in Cold Pressed, with a gentle texture that suits most painting, and Hot Pressed, a smooth surface ideal for fine detail, botanical work and pen and wash.

A heavyweight 300lb (640gsm) Cold Pressed version is also available for very wet techniques. Sizes run from a portable 4 x 6in to 12 x 16in.
