General Pencil Peel & Sketch Charcoal Pencil – Hard

General Pencil Company is a family-owned American pencil maker, based in Jersey City, New Jersey, and making pencils since 1889. Its charcoal pencils are classics of the drawing studio, offering the rich black of charcoal in a clean, controllable wood-cased form.

The Original Charcoal Pencil comes in degrees from HB to 6B, giving crisp lines in the harder grades and deep, velvety blacks in the softer ones. The white charcoal pencil adds highlights on toned paper. Peel & Sketch pencils are paper-wrapped, so you simply peel back the wrapping to expose more charcoal, with no sharpener needed. The Soft Carbon Sketch Pencil offers an intense, smooth black for sketching and shading.

Wrapped china markers, in black, white and red, write on glass, plastic, metal, glossy photographs and ceramics.
