Jacquard Cyanotype Kit

Sun printing turns daylight into a creative tool, and Jacquard makes it easy to try at home, in the classroom or in the studio. Cyanotype is the historic photographic process that produces rich Prussian blue images: lay leaves, lace, objects or a printed negative on treated material, expose it to sunlight or UV light, then rinse in water to reveal a crisp white-on-blue print.

The Cyanotype Kit provides the sensitiser to coat your own paper or fabric, while the Master Kit expands on this for more ambitious projects. Pre-treated cyanotype fabric sheets let you start printing straight away with no mixing.

Jacquard SolarFast takes the idea further with dyes that develop their colour in sunlight, producing permanent photographic images in a range of colours on natural fabrics and paper. The Starter Kit is a straightforward introduction to the process.
