Wooden painting boxes from Mabef, made in Italy in a range of sizes from 20 x 30cm to 35 x 45cm. They hold paints, brushes and a palette in one sturdy case, ready to take to class or out into the landscape; the M/112 is supplied without a metal lining.
The M/105 pochade box is designed for small outdoor oil studies, holding a panel in the lid while you paint from the palette below. Mount it on the M/A30 pochade tripod for a compact, lightweight painting set-up.
Pair with a Mabef rectangular wooden palette sized to fit your box. Wooden boxes protect tubes and brushes in transit and keep your materials organised so you can set up quickly at your chosen spot. With care, the beechwood construction will last for many years of painting trips.
