Magnani's 1404 drawing papers bring the Tuscan mill's experience to graphite, charcoal, pastel and ink. Ponte Vecchio is a 220gsm drawing paper with a rough surface that grips dry media and gives expressive, textured strokes, available in pads from 18 x 26cm to 35 x 45cm and as a 50 x 65cm sheet.
Velata is a lighter 90gsm sketching paper in pads of 24 x 32cm and 35 x 45cm, ideal for quick studies, preparatory drawings and everyday sketching. Annigoni is a 250gsm buff-toned drawing paper with a warm, mid-tone ground that flatters sanguine, sepia, charcoal and white chalk.
Together they cover everything from rapid sketching to considered tonal drawing, and they pair naturally with Magnani's watercolour and printmaking papers for artists who work across several media.
