The Masters Brush Cleaner and Preserver is a long-established American favourite for cleaning brushes used with oils, acrylics and watercolour. Swirl a wet brush in the solid cleaner, work it into a lather in your palm and rinse: it lifts paint from the bristles while conditioning and helping to restore their shape.
The range includes jars from 30ml to the 717g studio size, the companion Masters hand soap for cleaning paint from your skin, kits that combine cleaner and soap, and Kiss Off stain remover for paint marks on clothing.
After cleaning, shape the brush head and allow it to dry with a light coating of cleaner to preserve the point. Regular cleaning with a dedicated brush cleaner can greatly extend the working life of good brushes.
