The standard cap supplied on Montana Gold cans.
The cap is what turns a can of paint into a tool. Montana's interchangeable caps let you change the width, softness and character of the spray on the same can, from crisp hairlines to wide, soft fills. They are inexpensive, so most painters keep a good selection in their kit.
The Level cap system runs from Level 1 Ultra Skinny to Level 6 Ultra Fat, giving a clear, graded choice of line width. Alongside these you will find skinny, soft and fat caps, needle and outline caps for fine work, calligraphy and flatjet caps for flat, angled strokes, the Fire and 81 caps in male and female versions, and replacement standard caps for Montana Black and Montana Gold.
Where a cap is made in male and female versions, the two are listed separately, so check which one suits your cans before ordering. Mixed packs offer an easy way to try several caps at once.
