New Wave Tempered Glass Palette 6.75 x 8.4in – Clear

New Wave tempered glass palettes give you a perfectly flat, non-porous mixing surface that never stains and can be scraped completely clean with a razor or palette knife – even after oil paint has dried.

Available in grey, white and clear, and in 6.75 x 8.4in, 9 x 12in and 12 x 16in sizes. Grey offers a neutral mid-tone for judging values, white shows colour as it will look on a white ground, and clear lets you slip any colour of paper underneath.

Tempered glass is far tougher than ordinary glass, making these palettes suitable for daily studio use. Glass is also ideal for mixing large amounts of colour and for keeping paint workable for longer, because it does not absorb any oil or water from your mixtures. Rubber feet or a cloth underneath will stop it sliding on the table.
