Speedball Oblique Pen Holder – Black

An oblique holder sets the nib at an angle, making it easier to write the slanted scripts of Copperplate and Spencerian.

Speedball has been part of lettering history since 1915, when Ross F. George designed the original Speedball lettering nibs; today the company makes nibs, holders, inks and markers used by calligraphers, illustrators and students around the world.

A comfortable, secure holder makes all the difference to your lettering and drawing. The standard holder accepts most Speedball nibs, while the #102 crow quill holder takes the smaller #102, #107 and #108 nibs and the #104 holder suits #100, #103 and #104 nibs. Oblique holders angle the nib for Copperplate and Spencerian scripts, and the Classic holders in Black and Gold, Silver and Black, Gold Multi and Mahogany finishes add a touch of style to your desk.

The 2-in-1 holder in gunmetal and the Masgrimes lining triangle, used for ruling lettering guidelines, complete the range.
