Highlighting the iconic visuals, powerful themes, and unforgettable characters that make Wicked a cultural phenomenon, this unique collector’s item pays tribute to the unlikely friendship between Elphaba and Glinda and their journeys exploring identity, power, and the complexities of good versus bad.

Born from the pages of Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, the film Wicked reimagines the world of L. Frank Baum’s Oz. The story follows the two young witches from their early days at Shiz University, where their initial animosity gives way to a complex and enduring friendship that changes them both for good. Directed by Jon M. Chu, the film adaptation brings this beloved story to a new audience, with Cynthia Erivo taking on the role of Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda.

Since its Broadway premiere in 2003, Wicked has become more than just another musical; it is a movement. This musical challenges us to reconsider our perceptions of good and bad, and question whether people are born wicked, or if they have that thrust upon them.

At its heart, Wicked is a story about the power of friendship, the importance of staying true to oneself, and the courage it takes to defy expectations. As we join audiences worldwide to rejoice in this rapturous film, we are thrilled to bring its core visuals and values to the Paperblanks collection with this special release. Honouring the everlasting impact of Wicked, this exclusive stationery series doesn’t just cause a commotion, it is one.
