Pilot Capless Rhodium Trim Fountain Pen

The Pilot Capless – known in some markets as the Vanishing Point – is the original retractable fountain pen, first introduced by Pilot in 1963. A single click extends the nib from the barrel and a second click retracts it, while an internal trapdoor seals the nib away so the ink does not dry out. It is the ideal fountain pen for quick notes, meetings and everyday carry: no cap to post, lose or remove.

The best-selling Capless with bright rhodium-finished trim and a rhodium-plated 18k gold nib, available in a wide range of lacquered barrel colours. A stub nib option is also offered for broader, characterful lines.

Fills with Pilot cartridges or a Pilot CON-40 converter for bottled ink such as Pilot Iroshizuku. The clip sits at the nib end, so the pen naturally clips nib-up in a pocket.
