Pro Arte Retractable brushes are designed for painting on the go. The brush head retracts into its own barrel, protecting the hair in a bag, pencil case or pocket, and extends to a full-length handle when you are ready to paint – ideal for sketching outdoors, travel journals and plein-air work.
The flat head is ideal for blocking in colour, painting crisp straight edges and laying broad areas; turned on its side it produces thin lines and sharp edges. Larger sizes are perfect for background washes.
