Prolene Plus is one of Pro Arte's softest synthetic ranges, developed to feel remarkably close to a natural sable. The vegan fibres carry a generous load of colour and spring back to a fine, crisp point, so a single brush can lay in larger washes and still pick out the smaller details that need plenty of water. It is a superb choice for watercolour, gouache and well-diluted acrylics.

The round shape is wonderfully versatile: use the point for thin, precise lines and fine details, or apply more pressure for broader strokes. Larger sizes hold enough colour for background washes and wet-in-wet techniques.
