Raphaël is a French brushmaker whose history goes back to 1793, and alongside its fine art brushes it offers foam applicators for smooth, even coverage.
The Series 7200 foam brushes come in widths of 1, 2, 3 and 4 inches. Foam leaves no brushmarks, so these brushes are ideal for applying varnish, glue, gesso, decoupage medium and smooth flat colour on paper, card, wood and canvas. The Series 7000 foam rollers, in 45mm and 60mm widths, are useful for rolling out even layers of paint, applying colour through stencils and covering larger flat areas quickly.
Both are great for mixed media, craft and school projects. Wash out water-based materials straight after use so the foam stays soft and ready to use again.
