Raphaël Le Voyageur Precision Synthetic Round Travel Brush – Size 5

Raphaël is a French brushmaker whose history goes back to 1793, and its travel brushes are designed for painting away from the studio, in a sketchbook kit, a pocket or a bag.

The Le Voyageur travel brushes come in Softaqua synthetic (a round and a mop) and Precision synthetic (rounds), and there is also a Le Voyageur wallet holding three travel brushes. Pocket brushes are offered in Series 8404 Kolinsky sable and in Stradivarius imitation Kolinsky.

Travel and pocket brushes are built so the head is protected when the brush is closed, keeping the point safe in transit, and they open out to a usable painting length. They pair perfectly with a compact watercolour box and a sketchbook for plein air painting, urban sketching and holiday journals. Rinse after use and let the brush dry fully before closing it.
