Speedball Red Baron Baren

Speedball has supplied artists, schools and printmakers from its home in Statesville, North Carolina for more than a century, and is one of the best-known names in relief printing, screen printing and lettering. Alongside inks and cutters, it makes the tools you need to carve and print in comfort.

The Inking Plate and Bench Hook hooks over the edge of your table to hold a block steady while you carve, then turns over to give you a smooth surface for rolling out ink. A baren is a flat, hand-held burnishing tool for pressing paper onto an inked block without a press; Speedball offers a classic baren and the economical Red Baron baren. The Model B Press is a compact press for printing small blocks with even pressure.

Together these tools make a home or classroom print station practical, tidy and safe.
