Sennelier Fluid Acrylic Retarder – 250ml

Sennelier’s acrylic auxiliaries let you prepare surfaces, change how your colour handles and protect the finished painting. Gessoes include a standard white primer, a semi-absorbent version and a gesso for pastels that gives a toothy ground for dry media.

Fluid mediums in bright, matte and gloss glazing versions thin colour for glazes and pours, while retarders slow drying for blending. Gloss gel adds body and transparency, and modelling pastes in light, standard and thick consistencies build relief and texture.

Finish with gloss or matt varnish containing UV light stabilisers to protect colours. Mediums intermix, so you can create your own sheen and texture, and all clean up with water while wet. Stir rather than shake mediums to avoid air bubbles.
