Sennelier Giant Soft Pastel – White 525

Sennelier's giant soft pastels are substantial blocks of colour in two essentials, Ivory Black 513 and White 525. These are the shades pastel artists use most and run out of first, and the giant format gives you a long-lasting supply for toning grounds, blocking in large areas and making bold, broad marks.

They are made with the same soft, pigment-rich formula as Sennelier's extra-fine pastels, so they blend seamlessly with standard sticks of the same reference number. The size makes them particularly useful in teaching studios, for large-scale work and for artists who like to work quickly and gesturally.

Use the broad face to lay in tone across a whole sheet, then build colour and detail on top with standard sticks and pastel pencils. Protect finished work with a light veil of Sennelier Latour fixative.
