Sennelier Gum Arabic Watercolour Medium – 60ml

Sennelier’s watercolour auxiliaries help you control your washes and protect your finished work. Gum arabic medium, the same binder used in watercolour paint, increases gloss and transparency and slows the spread of colour on damp paper for crisper edges.

Masking fluid drawing gum is painted onto areas you want to keep white; once your washes are dry it rubs away cleanly to reveal the untouched paper. The 37ml bottle comes with a fine 0.5mm applicator for delicate lines, highlights and lettering.

Watercolour varnish gives a protective layer to finished paintings when you prefer not to frame them under glass. Test any medium on a scrap of your chosen paper before using it on a finished piece. Shake or stir masking fluid gently and protect your brush with a little soap before use.
