Sennelier's Natural Linen sketchbooks are covered in natural linen and filled with 125gsm paper, a versatile weight for drawing in pencil, pen, charcoal, pastel pencil and other dry media. Made in France, they combine a handsome, hard-wearing cover with paper that is pleasant to draw on day after day.
They are offered in two orientations. The French (portrait) format opens on the short side, the usual choice for figures, portraits and general sketching, while the Italian (landscape) format opens on the long side, giving a wide spread that is ideal for landscapes, cityscapes and panoramic studies.
Sizes range from pocket-friendly books for travel to larger formats for the studio, so you can keep one for everyday sketching and another for more considered work.
