Sennelier Oil Sticks are oil colour in solid stick form: rich pigment bound in oil and wax, so you can draw and paint directly onto your surface with the immediacy of a pastel and the depth of oil paint.

The 38ml stick is the standard size, comfortable to hold for both line and broad colour, and comes in a wide palette including metallics, neon shades and a transparent colourless medium stick for blending and glazing.

Strokes can be left as bold, gestural marks or softened and blended with a brush, palette knife, rag or fingers, and the sticks combine well with conventional oil paint and mediums. A thin skin forms over the stick between sessions to keep it fresh; simply peel or rub it away to reveal soft colour beneath. Use them on primed canvas, board or heavy paper.
