Sennelier Rive Gauche Fine Oil Colour Cardboard Set – 8 x 40ml Tubes

Eight full-size 40ml tubes of Rive Gauche colour in a card box.

Rive Gauche is Sennelier’s fine oil colour, named after the Left Bank of the Seine where the company’s Paris shop still stands. It is designed to put good, reliable oil colour within reach of students, beginners and painters who simply use a lot of paint, without the price of the extra-fine range.

These sets gather a balanced selection of Rive Gauche colours, from compact card boxes of 21ml tubes to wooden boxes with 40ml tubes and painting accessories. They make an ideal first oil palette, a thoughtful gift, or a tidy way to keep a travel kit ready to go.

Rive Gauche colours mix freely with each other and with Sennelier extra-fine oils, and can be used with the usual oil painting mediums, solvents and varnishes. Thin them with solvent for underpainting and glazes, or use them straight from the tube for confident, textured brushwork and knife work.
