Sennelier Sketching Pencil – White

Sennelier sketching pencils bring together the classic dry drawing media in one consistent pencil format. The range covers graphite in light, medium and dark grades, charcoal from medium through super soft to super black, and the traditional sanguine, sepia, rose ochre and white tones long used for figure and portrait drawing.

Working with pencils rather than sticks keeps your hands cleaner and gives you a sharpenable point for controlled line work, while still allowing you to shade, smudge and blend. Combine sanguine and sepia on a toned paper, then pick out highlights with white for the trois crayons technique, or use the charcoal grades for rich, dark tonal studies.

They work well on drawing and pastel papers and pair naturally with Sennelier pastel pencils.
