Sennelier Extra-Fine Soft Pastel – Dead Leaf Green 147

Out of stock

Sennelier has been making artists' colours in Paris since Gustave Sennelier opened his shop on the Quai Voltaire in 1887, and its extra-fine soft pastels remain one of the most celebrated ranges in the world. The full palette runs to 525 shades, arranged in colour families that step from deep, saturated tones through to delicate light tints, so you can build a subtle, tonally accurate palette one stick at a time.

Sennelier soft pastels are made to the same principle as the original range: a very high proportion of pure pigment with only the minimum of binder needed to hold the stick together. The result is an exceptionally soft, velvety pastel that releases colour at the lightest touch and blends easily with a finger, stump or brush.

Buying open stock lets you replace the colours you use most, or add precise tints to an existing set. Each stick carries its Sennelier reference number, which makes reordering simple. Use them on a toothed pastel paper or card and protect finished work with a light veil of Sennelier Latour fixative.
