Sennelier Extra-Fine Soft Pastel Wooden Box Set – 525 The King

The King is Sennelier's largest wooden set, holding one full-size stick of each of the 525 soft pastel shades.

Sennelier soft pastel sets are an ideal way to begin with, or expand, one of the finest pastel ranges available. The house has made artists' colours in Paris since 1887, and its extra-fine soft pastels are prized for their high pigment content, velvety texture and enormous palette of 525 shades.

Sets come in sturdy cardboard boxes and handsome wooden cases, with full-size or half-size sticks. Themed selections such as Landscape, Portrait and Seaside gather the colours each subject calls for, while Assorted sets provide a balanced, all-round palette. Small six-stick sets of half pastels focus on a single theme, from skies and seascapes to skin tones, and make thoughtful gifts or top-ups.

Half pastels give you the same colour range at a lower cost per shade, and every stick is identified by its Sennelier reference number for easy replacement from open stock.
