Spectrafix fixatives are made in the USA for pastel, charcoal and graphite artists who want to secure their work without the harsh smell associated with many conventional spray fixatives. Degas Pastel Fixative comes in a pump sprayer that you use between layers and to finish, helping to hold loose pigment while preserving the tooth of the surface.

Finalfix is a spray for the final protective coat on a finished pastel or drawing, and Natural Glass is a varnish and medium for adding a protective, glass-like finish.

Apply light, even coats from a distance, allowing each to dry before the next. Test on a scrap of the same paper first to see how the fixative affects your colours, and work in a well-ventilated space.
