Mars Lumograph black is Staedtler's carbon-enriched graphite drawing pencil, giving a deep, matt black line with very little shine. It bridges the gap between graphite and charcoal: richer and darker than a standard graphite pencil, yet clean and smudge-resistant enough for detailed work.
The 2B degree is a versatile soft grade for sketching, tonal shading and expressive drawing. The break-resistant lead is bonded into high-quality PEFC-certified wood and sharpens easily to a fine point.
