The Kaweco Sport was first designed in 1911 as a pocket fountain pen which could be carried everywhere. It has an octagonal design and an oversized cap.
Kaweco Sport fountain pens measure only 10.5 cm when closed, but when the cap is mounted on top of the barrel they become a 13 cm-long, standard-sized pen, hence the slogan: "small in the pocket, large in the hand".
The Kaweco STEEL Sport series is made of CNC-machined stainless steel which, unlike brass and copper, doesn't change much with use. It is hand assembled and comes in a nostalgic gift tin.
The nib is made in Germany and comes in 5 nib sizes, from EF to BB.A standard international ink cartridge is included. Accessories are available separately (see below).
