Thomas Slim Nomad Pocket Rollerball Pen – Steel, With Loop

The Nomad is Thomas Slim's everyday-carry pocket pen, built for drops, knocks and real life. Its 304 stainless steel body is CNC-machined to 30-micron tolerances, with a barley engine-turned pattern on the grip and cap threads and a mother-of-pearl insert. Nitrile sealing rings keep the ink where it belongs – in testing it survived 24 hours underwater and repeated drops onto concrete and still wrote straight away. Just 84 mm long when capped, it slips easily into a pocket and opens out to 131 mm for writing.

This is the loop version in stainless steel, with a key-loop end so it can ride on a lanyard, keyring or carabiner.

The rollerball version uses a Schmidt rollerball unit fed by the same cartridge system – in testing it wrote continuously for over 1,500 metres. Choose your preferred tip size from the options above.
