Prehistoric man shaped obsidian tools from lava to survive; Visconti has created a writing instrument inspired by that genius. Dark Age pairs Visconti's patented blend of Mount Etna basaltic lava and resin – unbreakable, moisture-absorbing and velvety to the touch – with dark ruthenium-finished metalwork for a brooding, all-black look. The fountain pen fills by Visconti's Power Filler vacuum system and seals with the Hook Safe Lock bayonet closure.
