Yupo Medium Pad 200gsm 10 Sheets – 6 x 15in

Yupo is a polypropylene synthetic paper, distributed by Legion Paper, that has become a favourite surface for watercolour, alcohol inks and experimental painting. It is completely smooth, waterproof and tree-free, and because it does not absorb water, paint sits on the surface and moves freely, creating luminous blooms, textures and unexpected effects.

Colour can be wiped away right back to white with a damp brush or tissue, making Yupo very forgiving for experimentation. It also suits acrylic, ink, markers and printmaking, and will not buckle or tear when wet.

Yupo Medium (200gsm) and Yupo Heavy (390gsm) are available in pads, packs of A5, A4 and A3 sheets, and a Medium roll, while Yupo Translucent offers a see-through version for layering and tracing. Mini pads are a low-cost way to give Yupo a try.
